For instance, if the hourly rate is $250 and the case is expected to take at least 10 hours, a retainer of $2,500 may be required. 

Additional Expenses

  • Travel Expenses: Charges for mileage, airfare, lodging, and meals if the investigation requires travel. 

  • Specialized Equipment: Fees for the use of specialized equipment or technology, such as GPS trackers or surveillance devices.
