Infidelity Statistics

According to studies by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, national surveys indicate that 15 percent of married women and 25 percent of married men have extramarital affairs.

Unfortunately, infidelity and adultery is common. We can help to discover the truth, so you can make a decision on how to move forward based on facts.

Starting an Infidelity Surveillance Investigation

We know that not everyone has a private investigator on speed dial, and often times our clients are afraid or even embarrassed to hire a private investigator. What I can tell you that while no two cases or situations are the same, they all share similar characteristics. Our team of investigators is here to help answer any questions about the process, how it works, what tools and resources you have available to you, and to let you know if an investigation is the right course of action for your situation.

Our job as investigators go beyond surveillance and background checks. Our job is to help protect you, our client, before, during, and after the affair. How to protect yourself and identify signs of an affair, how to handle the affair, and how to protect yourself after the affair takes place. All of this is unique to you and can be answerd through a consultation. In terms of what you can expect during this process is:

1. Free Consultation and Case Review

Submit your case online or give us a call to discuss your case. We offer a free initial consultation, and if requested, will meet with you in person at our San Francisco office. Confidentiality and discretion is a top priority and therefore everything discussed will be kept in the strictest of confidences. Once we have a good idea of your specific case, we can formulate a plan of action with you. Some of the things we will discuss can be sensitive, and may include:

  • What is your relationship to the person being investigated?
  • How long have you been in a relationship?
  • What makes you believe they are being unfaithful?
  • Do you know who they may be having an affair with?
  • Do you have any idea of when/where the suspicious activities may be taking place?
  • When do you want the investigation to begin?
  • Do you know where the person of interest will be during the investigation?
  • Are you working with an attorney?
  • Will this evidence be used in a current custody or divorce case?
  • Are there any restraining orders or allegations of domestic violence?

2. Investigation Progress

Once you have hired us we will begin work on your case. We will likely initiate a case file and obtain relevant identifying information from you. Identifying information may include things like a physical description, age, photographs, and vehicles used, if any. We may also be able to supplement the investigator with a GPS tracking device. In California, a GPS device is only allowed in certain situations, and typically that has to do whose name is on the vehicle registration with DMV.

Our private investigators will follow the person of interest wherever they may go. We are adept at following people in vehicles, on foot, and even through airports and to other destinations. We also will obtain quality video as evidence.

3. Case Updates, Evidence, and Final Report

Our private investigator will keep you informed of all relevant developments in a timely fashion. Video evidence and written reports are typically uploaded to a secure server with access granted to our client and their legal team, if applicable. We generally aim to have video and reports completed and uploaded within 24 hours, although we typically have it available sooner than that.

Additionally, if needed, the investigator will be available to testify in court on your behalf.

If you suspect your spouse or significant other of cheating, please contact us for a free consultation so we can get the evidence you need to make a decision based on fact.

How it Works

What Is Involved In An Infidelity Investigation?

Infidelity Investigations typically involve covertly following a subject believed to be cheating and obtaining video and photographic evidence for divorce, child custody, or other legal proceedings, or simply for the client’s own peace of mind.

A cheating spouse investigation can also involve reviewing social media, dating profiles, and obtaining witness statements to support any video evidence.

When to Call
